Welcome to ICA:UK - the participation and development charity

ICA:UK is a registered charity concerned with the human factor in world development - creating a just and sustainable world for all, through partnership and participation. We work locally, nationally and internationally to enable individuals, organisations and communities to work together to bring about positive change.

We can help you to bring about positive change in your organisation or team, in your community, or with your partners or clients - and you can help us to help others.

Developing your capacity for participation & partnership

group_home2We can facilitate meetings and events to meet your needs. Tailored facilitation by our experienced facilitators will involve your people effectively and enable them to meet their goals together.

You can become an expert facilitator yourself by training in our proven approach – choose from a range of facilitation training courses nationwide, both for beginners and for experienced facilitators.

We can provide in-house training for your group at your place, so that we can tailor training to your exact needs.

Our range of facilitation books and resources can also support you in your practice and development as a facilitator.

Our facilitation services are particularly tailored to suit public services & partnerships, voluntary & community organisations, young people & youth organisations, international development NGOs & African partners and professional facilitators.

Youth Participation

Participation_LadderDo you struggle to get young people involved in your organisation or service? Have you heard a lot about how important youth participation is - but found very little on how to make it happen?

Find out how our Youth Participation Programme can help you, your young people or youth workers gain skills to encourage influential youth participation.

International Development

Q4_Leadership_1-17

Do you work with an international NGO struggling with issues of participation and partnership? Are you with an African organisation seeking partnership with a UK-based NGO?

Find out how our International Programme can help you and your partners involve people more effectively, particularly in programmes addressing HIV/AIDS and conflict transformation.

Help us to help others

All of the income earned by charging fees for our services is reinvested in pursuing our charitable mission - so you will help us to help others simply by choosing ICA:UK for your facilitation, training & consulting needs. As we help you to develop your capacity for participation & partnership, you will help us to help others develop theirs.

To support our work in Africa, become a sponsor with our Village Volunteers programme.

Join us as a member, to support ICA:UK and our mission as a whole - and to get connected and perhaps involved with ICA:UK, and with others who share our values and concerns.
