ICA:UK is seeking to recruit a new Treasurer to be appointed at the next AGM in February 2016 to replace our current Treasurer who will be standing down after 8 years service to the Board.

We are a small national and international development charity, headquartered in Manchester, currently employing 3 staff, and working with a range of associate trainers/consultants to deliver our training and consultancy services. Most of our income is generated from fees, and sometimes grants, mainly for our work overseas. ICA:UK is part of an international network of ICAs, and has links with similar organisations in the UK. Over the past 2 years we have introduced a new business model, with a focus on retaining a core management/admin/strategic function, and outsourcing delivery to our network of associates.

Our new Treasurer will ideally be able to bring skills and experience in financial management/ accountancy to our small Trustee Board, as well as a clear understanding of charity governance.

ICA:UK is seeking to recruit up to 4 new Trustees to be appointed at the next AGM in February 2016 to complement and expand our current Board.

We are a small national and international development charity, headquartered in Manchester, and part of an international network of ICAs all concerned with the “human factor in world development”. For the past two years we have been testing a new business model, with a focus on retaining a core management/admin/strategic function, and outsourcing delivery to our network of associates. This model is now under review.

We are looking for new Trustees who will bring energy and expertise to support and guide the organisation in this transition phase, able to draw on their knowledge and experience of working with non-profit organisations in a challenging economic environment. Applicants already familiar with ICA are encouraged to apply. Trustee positions are usually for 3 years, but in the interests of attracting a wider range of candidates we are also ready to consider applications from suitable candidates who wish to commit to the role for only one year.
