Helping teams plan short term projects and events

The Action Planning method uses the basic Focused Conversation and Consensus Workshop methods to engage all members of a group effectively, and so it builds commitment and ownership at all stages. The method is suitable for planning short to medium-term projects, or completing projects that have stalled.

This course offers:

  • A structured, participatory process to enable the successful implementation of a group project or event.
  • Interactive course design so that you develop skills, share experiences and gain an in-depth understanding of the principles behind the methods
  • More than 50 years of ICA experience in community development, consensus-building, and participation
  • Recognition by the ILM. Participants are eligible for an ILM Development Award.

More information about this course and the ToP methods is available on the Dynamic Action Planning overview page.
