Benefits of membership
Members'
subscriptions and donations represent a small but important
financial contribution to our charitable work. Perhaps more
important to ICA:UK are members' contributions of time, experience,
connections and moral support - whether or not they participate
in our activities in any practical way.
In exchange, members benefit from a supportive national and
international community of a diverse range of people sharing
some of their values, interests and concerns. They also benefit
from a variety of opportunities to get involved, wherever
they are, and so gain skills, experience, colleagues and often
friends as well.
In addition to our programme activities, there are four main
areas of network activity:
An on-line community
An on-line community provides a forum for dialogue and interchange
among network members, by email via the network
web page

UK Network gatherings
National gatherings of the ICA:UK network are held periodically.
Recent events have included the Christmas gathering and Annual
General Meeting in December, a 'Playback Theatre' workshop
day in November and a family social event in July.
International Events
Members also participate in regional and global ICA conferences
and interchanges, and on the Board and the Executive Committee
of ICA International.
