ICA:UK's most popular Group Facilitation course.

This is our core course, taken by more than 200 people each year.  You will learn the theory of the Technology of Participation methods and practice using them right away in supportive learning environment.The course is interactive and fun, and 93% of Group Facilitation Methods participants rated the course 8/10 or higher.

This course offers:

  • Two versatile and powerful Technology of Participation (ToP) methods for structuring group conversations that work and making group decisions that will turn into action
  • Interactive course design so that participants develop skills, share experiences and gain an in-depth understanding of the principles behind the methods
  • More than 50 years of ICA experience in community development, consensus-building, and participation
  • Accreditation with the Institute of Leadership and Management. Participants are eligible for an ILM Development Award.
