In House Training
"I can honestly say your workshop was one of the most instructive I've ever attended - an amazing amount of insight in such a short time" - David Albone, Corporate Services Manager, The Ridings Housing Association.
"A number of colleagues have mentioned to me how useful they found the day, and I know several people have already used some of the frameworks and approaches you introduced so we are making use of what we've learned" - Daniel Jones, Programme Learning & Advocacy team, VSO
Let us come to you - so that your group can all learn together, and so that we can tailor our training for you. We are pleased to provide our training “in-house”, ie: privately for your group, at your place.
Many of our clients choose to have us deliver one of our proven public courses for them in-house, with only minor tailoring to meet the training needs of their particular group. In this case our standard arrangements (pdf) for in-house courses, including costs, normally apply.
Tailored training
We will also be pleased to design uniquely tailored training for you, to meet the particular needs of you and your group.
All of our training is informed by our approach. To tailor training for you, we can of course draw on the training modules currently included in our public courses - see case study (pdf).
However, we can also draw on additional existing modules that are not currently included. These vary in scale from an hour or two to full two-day courses, and they include:
- arts and drama in facilitation
- event orchestration
- facilitating conciliation
- facilitator competencies
- facilitator styles
- games & icebreakers
- group study
- historical scan (Wall of Wonder)
- model building & merging
- philosophy, mission & values workshop
- story, song & symbol workshop
- task time-lining
- team leadership
- youth as facilitative leaders
See also our specialist Youth Participation and International programmes.
We can also develop and design new modules to meet your training needs - drawing on the in-depth experience of our people in a wide range of approaches and sectors, and on that of our network of colleagues of ICA worldwide.
Please contact us with any queries, and to discuss tailored training to meet your needs.
